1. The Alfred Tennyson, Belgravia

Located in the Belgravia area, this upscale pub is known for its modern take on traditional British cuisine. I enjoyed a delicious roast dinner in a cozy atmosphere. The staff were friendly and made the dining experience even more comfortable. The Sunday roast is a must-try. The place can get quite busy in the evening, so I recommend making a reservation in advance. The combination of vintage charm and modern design made it a truly special experience.

2. Seven Dials Market

Situated near Covent Garden, this food market offers a variety of street foods all in one place. With a wide range of international cuisines, the lively atmosphere was impressive. If you’re looking for a unique culinary experience during your trip, this is the place to go. You can find everything from Thai food to traditional British dishes, and delicious desserts all in one place. On weekends, live performances make the experience even more enjoyable.

3. The Wolseley

Located in the Piccadilly area, this restaurant exudes a European café ambiance. The breakfast here is particularly famous, offering a classy dining experience in a beautifully decorated interior. The service was exceptional, making it the perfect spot for a special occasion. Their brunch menu includes a variety of options, from pancakes to a full English breakfast. Afternoon tea is also a great option for a relaxing time.

Located in Covent Garden, this restaurant offers a modern take on Indian cuisine. The dishes, rich in diverse spices, were incredibly flavorful, and the unique decor was quite eye-catching. The tandoori dishes and traditional curries were especially delightful. If you’re looking for authentic Indian food in London, this is the place to be. The lunch set menu is a great value, and the dinner setting is romantic and perfect for an evening out.

This trendy restaurant stands out with its stylish interior and creative menu. Using fresh ingredients, their dishes were an absolute delight. They also offer a great variety of vegetarian options, making it a welcoming spot for everyone. It’s a lively place, especially popular among the younger crowd, and live music performances are held on weekend evenings.

⚠️ Please note that this place only accepts cash, so be prepared before visiting. It was the only place where I had to use cash during my London trip.

6. Jolene Bakery & Restaurant

Located in Newington Green, this bakery-restaurant is well known for its freshly baked bread and pasta. I enjoyed a breakfast of croissants and coffee, and the bread was incredibly soft and tasty. It’s the perfect spot to enjoy a relaxing brunch. Their menu changes with the seasons, so there’s always something new to try. It’s a great place to stop by after a peaceful walk in the park on weekends.
